Samaan Shekhar

Samaan Shekhar (B. Chandrashekhar) is one of the youngest to enter IAS in his very first attempt in 2002, with Public Administration as an optional. Having served as SubDivisional Magistrate, CEO ZP, Collector & District Magistrate (in six districts), Commissioner, MD of a few state PSU, Secretary to State Government, Vice Chancellor of State Medical Science University, etc., he has the first hand experience of being part of the Public Administration and practising it. With his educational degrees in diverse disciplines such as Engineering, Law and Economics, he brings interdisciplinary understanding to Administration. He writes fiction and non-fiction and has kin interest in wildlife photography and fitness.
About Dhananjay Wanjari
Dhananjay Wanjari
( IRS, Academic Advisor)
An IRS officer of 2008 Batch. He has an experience of 15 years of guiding candidates for UPSC civil services exam preparation. He is an alumnus of RTM Nagpur University, IIT Delhi, and University of Chicago. He has presented research in political science and political sociology at various domestic and international fora. He is the author of important book – Inheritance, Hierarchy, and Caste: Origins of Political Decay in India

Indian Railway Traffic Service(IRTS ) officer of 2002 batch. He has worked in various capacities in operations and commercial departments of Indian Railways in various parts of the country. He has been awarded with the prestigious Rail Minister’s Award for outstanding service in year 2009. He is an Hons graduate in History and has done M.A and M.Phil in Politics and International Relations from JNU where he was a Ford Foundation scholarship holder. He pursues his hobby of writing travelogues, Poetry (Hindi and Urdu). He keenly follows national and international developments and brings it into his teaching, adding exceptional value to the subject he teaches.
About Dr. P. D. Satyapal
Dr. P. D. Satyapal
( Professor and HoD Anthropology)
Dr. P.D.Satyapal is Professor and HoD of Anthropology with 29years of Teaching and Research experience. One of the most renowned Anthropologist in India, he has staggering 67 research publications to his credit. While teaching Masters students, he has guided 17 PhD and 5 M.Phil candidates from India and abroad.
He has conducted field research among tribal communities across India including Northeast and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
He has been into paper setting, evaluation and adjudication for Anthropology subject with UPSC and other institutions for over two decades. His wide travels include invited lectures and he has been a Resource Person to HR Executive Training programs of several PSUs.
He brings his unique first hand research experience and knowledge to his teaching of Anthropology and adds unique value to the subject content and understanding, giving our students significant edge over others.
